CatholicTV to Broadcast Mass for the Veneration of the Heart of Saint Padre Pio

WATERTOWN, MASS. (September 19, 2016) – On Friday, September 23 at 7pm ET, the CatholicTV Network will broadcast live the Holy Mass from Boston’s Cathedral of the Holy Cross on the Feast of Saint Padre Pio. The Mass, celebrated by Cardinal Seán O’Malley, is part of a relic tour of the heart of Saint Padre Pio in the Archdiocese of Boston. This is the first time a major relic of Saint Padre Pio has left Italy.

CatholicTV to Broadcast 150th Anniversary Mass for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Icon

WATERTOWN, MASS. (September 16, 2016) – On Saturday, September 17 at 2pm ET, the CatholicTV Network will broadcast live the Mass in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help icon being entrusted to the Redemptorist Order. The Mass will be celebrated from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. with celebrant and homilist Father Michael Brehl, C.Ss.R., the Superior General of the Redemptorists.

CatholicTV Hosts Record-Breaking Telethon

WATERTOWN, MASS. (September 12, 2016) – On Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10, the CatholicTV Network held a record-breaking Telethon, the twenty-fifth in the network’s history, hosted by Bishop Robert Reed, Jay Fadden, Kevin Nelson, and Kate Andrews. Generous viewers from all over the United States donated more than $319,000 during the two-day event.

BOSTON, MASS. (August 25, 2016) – On Wednesday, Bishop Robert P. Reed, President of the CatholicTV Network and CEO of iCatholic Media, was ordained a Catholic Bishop, along with Bishop Mark O’Connell, JCD. The Ordination Mass was celebrated at Boston’s Cathedral of the Holy Cross with Cardinal Seán O’Malley as its principal consecrator, and was broadcast live on CatholicTV. There were approximately 1,500 people in attendance at the Mass.
