WATERTOWN, MA (July 1, 2013) – The CatholicTV Network will air the Fortnight for Freedom Closing Mass from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. live at 12pm ET on July 4, 2013.

The Fortnight for Freedom Closing Mass will air live on CatholicTV and www.CatholicTV.com. His Eminence Donald Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, will be the celebrant and homilist.

The CatholicTV Network to air New Series with Cardinal Dolan

WATERTOWN, MA (July 1, 2013) The CatholicTV Network will premiere a new series with New York’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Conversation with Cardinal Dolan.

Conversation with Cardinal Dolan is a new show where Cardinal Timothy Dolan discusses important religious issues, gives his perspective on news from around the nation and the world, interviews big names from both in and out of the church and takes audience calls and questions about faith. Busted Halo’s Father Dave Dwyer also appears on the show.

The CatholicTV Network to Air Special Coverage during Fortnight for Freedom

WATERTOWN, MA (June 18, 2013) – The U.S. bishops have called for a Fortnight for Freedom, a two-week period of prayer and action to address many current challenges to religious liberty, including the August 1, 2013 deadline for religious organizations to comply with the HHS mandate, Supreme Court rulings that could attempt to redefine marriage in June, and religious liberty concerns in areas such as immigration and humanitarian services.
 

New Series Featuring Bishop Christopher Coyne to Air on the CatholicTV Network

WATERTOWN, MA (June 24, 2013) – The CatholicTV Network has new series with Bishop Christopher Coyne entitled, “Everything You Wanted to Know About Catholic Liturgy (but were afraid to ask)”. The new series is featured during the CatholicTV Network’s Blink programming.

Bishop Coyne  uses his background in liturgy to answer questions about Catholic liturgy such as, “how late can I come to Mass and how early can I leave?” or “did you ever wonder why the priest drops a piece of the host into the chalice?”.

The CatholicTV Network to air Ordination and Installation of Bishop-elect John Thomas Folda

WATERTOWN, MA (June 14, 2013) – On Wednesday, June 19, 2013, the CatholicTV Network will air the Ordination and Installation of Bishop-elect John Thomas Folda at 3PM ET from the Cathedral of St. Mary, Fargo, ND.

The CatholicTV Network to air Ordinations to the Priesthood for the Archdiocese of Boston

WATERTOWN, MA (May 20, 2013) – On Saturday, May 25, 2013, the CatholicTV Network will air the Ordination Mass for the Archdiocese of Boston at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. The Mass will air LIVE at 9AM ET and will rebroadcast at 8PM ET and on May 26 at 11AM on CatholicTV. Commentary for the Ordination Mass will be provided by CatholicTV’s president, Father Reed.

The CatholicTV Network to Broadcast Interfaith Prayer Service for Boston Tragedy

WATERTOWN, MA (April 17, 2013) On Thursday, April 18, 2013 the CatholicTV Network will broadcast the Interfaith Prayer Service for the Boston Marathon bombing victims.

WATERTOWN, MA (March 18, 2013) The CatholicTV Network will broadcast the Inauguration Mass for Pope Francis live from Saint Peter's Basilica at 4:30AM ET. The Mass will rebroadcast on the CatholicTV Network at 11AM and 8PM ET.
