I must make an admission right from the start. This blog is going to be long and have a lot of pictures. There is no other way I could do this blog today because it was a truly spectacular and moving morning in Rome.
Father Hannon passed away 10 days ago, and we're really missing him here at CatholicTV. He has been celebrating Mass with us for over 30 years and has brightened our lives for all that time. His funeral was celebrated on Friday across the street at St Patrick's in Watertown.

World Youth Day approaches, and with it a certain outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our young Catholics. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from around the world are already arriving in Rio, eager to be envigorated in their faith by our truly paternal spiritual leader, Pope Francis.
